We are searching for an AI Strategist to join our team. If you are experienced in AI/ML with a passion for construction, innovation, and bridging the gap between business goals and technology, then please read on!

What you'll be doing:

• Research and evaluate AI tools, platforms, models, and vendor solutions; assessing their relevance and value for construction operations.

• Investigate AI methods (generative AI, machine learning, NLP, computer vision) for use cases across estimating, scheduling, safety, field operations, quality, and client experience.

• Design, build, and test AI proof-of-concepts and prototypes to explore new use cases; move fast, learn fast, iterate.

• Develop custom AI agents, workflows, and integrations that solve real business challenges across preconstruction and project delivery.

• Build and maintain integrations between AI tools and our existing SaaS platforms (Procore, Autodesk, O365, Primavera P6, Sage) using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.

• Develop and own an AI roadmap aligned with company goals and operational priorities.

• Present findings, recommendations, and demos to leadership on a regular cadence.

• Champion AI adoption; translate technical capability into practical value for project managers, superintendents, and estimators.

• Develop training materials and playbooks that help teams get value from AI tools independently.

• Some travel to project sites, offices, and conferences is required.

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML, applied data science, technology strategy, or a related technical role.

• Hands-on experience building solutions with AI tools and platforms; including large language models and generative AI.

• Strong proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and data integration.

• Experience integrating with enterprise SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.

• Ability to rapidly prototype and test solutions in exploratory, ambiguous environments.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, action-oriented, and effective listener.

• Self-motivated problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Experience in commercial construction, healthcare construction, or AEC technology is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with construction technology platforms (Procore, Autodesk, O365, Primavera P6, Sage) is a plus.

• Experience with agent frameworks, agentic workflows, and knowledge retrieval systems (RAG) is a plus.

• Experience with computer vision, document AI, or predictive analytics is a plus.

• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
